Grant Funding Applications

We offer consultant led sustainability Grant Funding Support, assisting public sector clients delivering sustainable developments and objectives, both in singular projects or larger portfolios. We know that economic barriers still remain for organisations looking to deliver on Decarbonisation and NetZero strategies, barriers which can be greatly reduced with government assistance. IC Zero provide support to clients through sometimes complicated funding processes, in order to take away the complexities of the applications, so they can focus on the impact of the funding. IC Zero have already successfully delivered a number of funded sustainability schemes for University clients such as Durham University and Edge Hill University, supporting and delivering successful Salix Funding grants. Furthermore, our consultant led approach provides a considered technical response, while retaining the ability for the client to competitively tender the undertaking of the works themselves.

PV Programme Delivery

We understand that solar PV panels are a critical tool to aid in the delivery of our clients targets to meet net zero and have experience in delivering Solar PV schemes for clients across a range of sites. Our guidance through the procurement process ensures that clients receive the greatest return on investment and largest reduction to their carbon footprint achievable with the budgets available. 

Having delivered numerous PV Schemes we have extensive knowledge of each stage of the process and understand the importance of  ensuring that all statutory requirements are met including planning permissions and Distribution Network Operator approval. 

We can also provide assurance that contractor designs are efficient and within regulation by calling upon our close relationships with engineering companies that have worked on multiple complex PV and MEP infrastructure projects. This expertise is also utlilised during handover of the projects to ensure that the works have been completed to a high quality.  

LED Programme Delivery 

Our experienced team of project and cost managers support clients in the successful implementation and roll out LED installation programmes. We oversee and manage the commissioning of surveys, manage the design approval process through to implementation and handover. Our LED projects consistently achieve payback periods in the region of 3 years.   

Retrofit

Retrofit and refurbishment is a huge benefit to your existing building that provides a route to introducing new materials, products and technologies to reduce the energy needed to occupy that building and potentially reduce your carbon footprint.

For your project this could include;

• Improving air tightness
• Upgrade existing electrical features (such as heating and hot water systems, lighting, renewable energy, controls)
• Install renewable products (such as PV and air source heat pumps)
• Improving overall building fabric reducing annual consumption
