Firstly, it was a complex project with many stakeholders including Historic England (formerly English Heritage). Identity Consult played a key role in establishing and valuing the works required to restore the Grade 1 listed building back to its original state with their cost plans being subject to ratification by both Historic England and Middlesbrough Borough Council Conservation team. They then supported the delivery of the project assisting in managing the works budget, preparing works contracts for all of the specialist trades and subsequently valuing the works onsite. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Identity Consult team. They have specialist knowledge of these types of projects which greatly assisted the project in question.

Richard Roddam – Chapter Homes
Chapter Homes saw its first new development commencing at Eden Field in Newton Aycliffe. After 18 months in the making it goes without saying that the valuable skills and experience of Identity Consult has ensured that the development commenced on time and is continuing to be developed in line with the programme. Claire Birnie – Senior Project Manager, Newcastle University
There was an enormous amount of pressure to deliver this project within incredibly tight timescales. Identity Consult mobilised immediately to progress the cost plan, programme and procurement documentation, and blended seamlessly with the Design Team and client representatives. There was a significant risk of the project not being completed within the required timescale, however the commitment and hard work from all involved in the project meant that we achieved completion earlier than anticipated, and within budget. The Final Account was formally agreed and signed off prior to completion thanks to Identity Consult’s proactive management of the cost plan, and close liaison with Clugston. The ICM project was a true example of collaborative, proactive teamwork; it certainly sets a very high benchmark for all future projects.
